Art Courses Wales runs three-day weekend courses in painting and drawing. Most courses are limited to nine places. We are situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, on the foothills of the Black Mountains. The area is exceptionally beautiful and is a popular destination. The house is welcoming, the purpose-built studio is spacious, and the professional tuition and generous hospitality encourage many people to return regularly.
There are nine courses each year, including life painting and drawing, portrait, still life, landscape and colour. The courses are theme-based and mainly concerned with direct painting and drawing from a subject.
Lunches are included and provided by an award-winning chef. Tea, coffee and other refreshments are also available throughout the day.
