What accommodation is available whilst I’m attending a course?

There are a number of excellent Bed and Breakfasts in the area. The closest are the Granary ( 5 stars ) and Wernfawr Farmhouse which are both 30 yards from the studio and house . Then there is a good choice of  AirB&B,  self catering accommodation, hotels  and camping sites in the area.

Are meals and refreshments provided ?

Lunch, teas and coffee are all included and available throughout the day. The day starts with coffee or tea at 9.50 am. Lunch is from 12.30- 1.30pm. The classes end at 4pm. Quite a few B&Bs provide evening meals. There are also a number of good restaurants and pubs within easy reach.

Do I need to bring materials ?

The studio is fully equipped with easels , work stations and drawing boards. There is a good supply of large pieces of paper and prepared surfaces to paint on.  If you have your own materials its a good idea to bring them. If not there is a supply of paints  and drawing equipment which can be purchased or used from large tubes at s small charge of £6 a day. The nearest art shop is in Hay-on-Wye

 

How do I book a course ?

If you  prefer  please phone or text us on 0780 1235059 Otherwise go to “Bookings”  and  fill in the form.  We will then be in touch and to confirm  a place for you. In addition to this we will send you the booking terms and methods of payment. The deposit is £25 for each day you book. The remainder of the fees are due 3 weeks in advance of the course.
