What accommodation is available while I’m attending a course?
There are a number of excellent Airbnb properties and bed and breakfasts in the area. The closest are The Granary, which has a five-star rating, and Wernfawr Farmhouse. Both are approximately 30 yards from the studio and house. There is also a good choice of self-catering accommodation, hotels and campsites nearby.

Are meals and refreshments provided and included?
Lunches are prepared by award-winning chef Gavin Kellett, who provides wholesome vegetarian soups and other dishes that vary each day. Tea and coffee are also included and available throughout the day. The day starts with coffee or tea at 9.50am, lunch is from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and classes end at 4pm. Quite a few local bed and breakfasts provide evening meals, and there are several good restaurants and pubs within easy reach.
Do I need to bring materials?
The studio is fully equipped with easels, workstations and drawing boards. There is a good supply of large sheets of paper and prepared surfaces to paint on. If you have your own materials, it is a good idea to bring them. Otherwise, paints and drawing equipment can be purchased or used from our larger tubes for a small charge of £6 per day. The nearest art shop is in Abergavenny. We recommend bringing your own materials and using our supplies as a backup. We have plenty of drawing and watercolour paper.
How do I book a course?
You can phone or text us on 07801 235059, or visit the booking page and complete the form. We will then contact you to confirm your place and send the booking terms and payment details. The deposit is £25 for each day booked. The remaining fees are due four weeks before the course.
