Life Drawing & Painting Weekend
June 21 – 23. 2025
This is the second life class of the new year. It is another opportunity to work from the model for 3 days.
The routine will be much the same as the February course .Saturday is more of exploratory drawing session using various approaches and materials in response to a number of different poses ranging from 2 minutes to an hour. Sunday and Monday is set up for those who want to focus on painting where a pose can last from 2 to 7 hours. Drawing is encouraged as much as painting, so the long sessions will suit painters as well as those who prefer prolonged drawing sessions.Tasks will be set, but instruction is mostly on a one-to-one basis and tailored to individual needs and experiences. Quite lot of the group have been regular attenders, therefore it’s a matter of helping everyones work to a further stage.
