What accommodation is available whilst I’m attending a course?

There are a number of excellent AirB&B and Bed and Breakfasts in the area. The closest are the Granary ( 5 stars ) and Wernfawr Farmhouse which are both 30 yards from the studio and house . Then there is a good choice of ,  self catering accommodation, hotels  and camping sites in the area too .

Are meals and refreshments provided and included ? Our lunches are outsourced  to an award winning chef called  Gavin Kellett,who provides us with very wholesome  and delicious vegetarian soups and food which are different from anybody-else’s,  but also different on each day.  Teas and coffee are all included and available throughout the day. The day starts with coffee or tea at 9.50 am. Lunch is from 12.30- 1.30pm. The classes end at 4pm. Quite a few B&Bs provide evening meals. There are also a number of good restaurants and pubs within easy reach.

Do I need to bring materials ?

The studio is fully equipped with easels , work stations and drawing boards. There is a good supply of large pieces of paper and prepared surfaces to paint on.  If you have your own materials its a good idea to bring them. If not there is a supply of paints  and drawing equipment which can be purchased or used from large tubes at s small charge of £6 a day. The nearest art shop is in Abergavenny. It best you bring your own materials and use our stock as a standby We have plenty of drawing and watercolour paper.

 

How do I book a course ?

If you  prefer  please phone or text us on 0780 1235059 Otherwise go to “Bookings”  and  fill in the form.  We will then be in touch and to confirm  a place for you. In addition to this we will send you the booking terms and methods of payment. The deposit is £25 for each day you book. The remainder of the fees are due 4 weeks in advance of the course.
