Pictures of our beautiful location in the Brecon Beacons National Park

Below, you’ll find some hand picked images of our beautiful location in the foot hills of the Black Mountains. These include some  pictures of some of the accommodation  you can rent. The Black Mountains are a range of mountains on the eastern side of the Brecon Beacons National Park  which are close to the  English border. The Brecon Beacons occupy the central area of the Park. However, the Black Mountains are considered  by many to be a best kept secret. Within half a mile from us  is the Pwll-y-Wrach nature reserve with  its waterfalls, set in 40 acres of woodland. The whole area of the Black Mountains is rich in iron age and  border history. The hills are ideal for trekking, gliding and  long walks along the ridges. The market towns of Crickhowell,Talgarth and Hay-on-Wye are the main historic  settlements serving the Black Mountains. The Brecon Beacons are 7 miles from our home and very visible. If you are a previous guest at the studio, and you’ve taken some pictures during your time with us, please email your favourites  and we’ll be happy to include them on the site.
